NSF--Science Indicators Instrumentation Workshop

At the request of the National Science Foundation Prof. Guterbock organized and convened a survey methodology workshop at NSF headquarters in November 2010. The workshop included experts in survey methodology and in public knowledge of science. The task was to recommend improvements in the instrumentation used in NSF's biennial surveys that assess public knowledge of science and technology. A report on the workshop's recommendations was submitted to NSF in January 2011. Supported by a grant to U.Va. Department of Sociology and CSR.
