What does public service mean to you?

Public service means serving the community and the public and providing them with opportunities to access services in education, healthcare, public transportation, recreational facilities and so forth. Public service is an indispensable part of building a vibrant community and a touchstone for good governance and healthy democracy. By working with CSR on various projects related to local communities and public policies, I feel that I have started to build an organic connection with the community I live in. The knowledge I learned in school is no longer just abstract concepts in the ivory tower, but it can be applied to examining real social issues. I'm very grateful to be able to work at CSR and make a contribution to providing public services to people.
