Spotsylvania County citizen satisfaction survey 2007

This survey was designed to determine residents` opinions about quality of life in Spotsylvania County, to determine residents` level of satisfaction with a number of services the County provides, and to measure citizen opinion about the way in which the County is managing growth and development. Of particular interest were the importance ratings of various planning goals and safety and characteristics of the County.

ORB International Weighting Consultation

CSR consulted with ORB on sample design for multi-stage area probability samples to be drawn in three African countries. After data were collected by local vendors on behalf of ORB, CSR applied base weights and post-stratification weights (using iterative rim weighting, also known as raking methods) to results from each country. Final, weighted data files were delivered to ORB, for delivery to the project sponsor.

Fairfax County NCS Customer Satisfaction

Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) wanted to gather information on Customer Satisfaction for five different centers/services. These included Human Services Transportation (HST), Senior Centers (SC), Community Centers, Teen Centers, and Technology Centers. CSR reviewed and edited questionnaires, ran mail and web surveys for HST and SC, entered data gathered by NSC for the other centers, and provided data tables for 799 total respondents and a methods report.

Foothills Forum--Rappahannock Survey

On behalf of local non-profit citizens organization Foothills Forum, CSR conducted a mail survey of residents of Rappahanock County, VA. Survey packets were mailed to every household in the county, and 1,362 were completed. The survey focused on needed services and on development issues, and received extensive coverage in the local press.

Botetourt County Agriculture

CSR assisted the Center for Economic and Policy Studies (also a unit of the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service) to conduct three focus groups regarding the status of agriculture in Botetourt County, and agricultural development needs and opportunities. Three focus groups were held in February 2015. CSR delivered a technical report to CEPS, and CEPS delivered a final written report to the county.

Loudoun County Resident Survey 2014

The 2014 Loudoun County Survey of Residents was conducted by telephone with a scientifically selected sample of 1,017 county residents. Listed, random-digit dial landline and cell numbers were included in the triple-frame sample design. Rural ZIP codes were oversampled. The questionnaire covered opinions about county services, employment, cell and broadband connectivity, Metrorail destinations and priorities for station features, and more.

Cville Employee Survey 2014

Web and mail survey designed to assess employees` satisfaction with their work environment and give employees an opportunity to contribute their ideas and opinions to help make the City of Charlottesville a better place to work. CSR had previously conducted a similar survey for the City in 2006, 2010 and 2012.

Citizen Cabinet Recruitment

The goal of the project was to test different methods of recruiting a general population to an online panel of US citizens to consult on public policy issues. Respondents were asked to sign up for the Citizen Cabinet by mail or by going to the specified website and entering their code. In this process, they were asked to complete a short intake questionnaire on paper or online.

VDH Dental Care Access

Telephone survey of Virginia residents inquiring about their oral health. The purpose of the survey was to assess respondents` access to oral health care and to identify the barriers that may exist between respondents and necessary oral health care.
