Current Surveys

Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) - Virginia Outdoor Survey

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is conducting a survey of residents in Virginia to learn more about the types of outdoor recreational activities in which Virginians participate. Even if you don’t get outdoors for recreation often – or at all – it is very important that we hear from you to get a complete picture of all Virginians.

If you have any questions, please contact Janit Llewellyn at the Department of Conservation and Recreation, at (804) 786-0887 or by email at Janit.Llewellyn@dcr.virginia.gov or contact Jim Ellis, Director of Research at the Center for Survey Research, at (434) 243-5224 or by email at surveys1@virginia.edu.

Louisa County Survey of Needs

The University of Virginia’s Center for Survey Research is now in the field with a survey of Louisa County residents.

If you have any questions about the survey, you may contact Matt Starnowski: MattUVA@virginia.edu or 434-243-5229.

We are contacting a scientific sample of Louisa County households that can be used to improve services in Louisa County. The survey is being conducted by the Center for Survey Research, a part of UVA’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service, on behalf of the Louisa County Resource Council, which can be reached through the website:  www.louisaresource.org.
